Lesotho's government has begun preparing for a harsher summer, linked to El Niño, by securing drought-resistant seeds and advising farmers to stockpile animal feed and water. Agriculture Minister Selibe Mochoboroane noted that recent rains have provided enough moisture to sustain crops through December, but warned of worsening conditions ahead.
